Basically, this is a list of weird questions/topics/etc that have been circling through my mind recently and sometimes inform the searches, readings & topics that I explore in the Research Garden. Not everything in this list will end up as a research topic, but every research topic that i have ever approached started out here.

• Art as a psychospiritual meaning-making practice to allieviate the aforementioned meaning crisis

• What's behind the capybara obsession that kids nowadays have
• TikTok trends/social media trends/pop music trends/clothing trends/etc (ex: brat summer, Lorde summer, Burberry bikini summer, "clean girl", the Anxiety dance, etc) as a control/mind-washing method that likens our society to a Huxley distopia & why do people still fabricate these when we KNOW that these contents are fabricated by brands and paid users
• Related to item above, how do we build a true, genuine, personal identity when we are constantly bombarded by brands trying to push an "identity"/"aesthetic"/"trend" on us to further their own agenda?
• Are we seing true identity be replaced by belonging to a particular "aesthetic" (note: different from cultural movement, like punk, hippies, etc, where there was definitely an aesthetic component but there were political & cultural issues also related - not the same as forming your identity around what products you consume and only how you present yourself in appearance to the world)
